Aronia Berry Studies
If you are researching ways to naturally help your body deal with life, you have to be careful which sources you rely on. One of my “go to” resources is PubMed. When I searched Aronia Berries I found wonderful study results! It’s dry reading and way above my head, but if you look at the conclusions, you will find the studies on Aronia are very promising.
Aronia Berries for your Skin?
One of my favorites is this one, it reaffirmed what I’ve tested myself.
I am a redhead with all the freckles, dark spots, and dry skin issues anyone in their early 60s would have. I have terrible sensitivities to all kinds of products which makes finding a moisturizer tricky.
We work with a very intelligent Ph.D. who has developed a way to get all the nutrients of the Aronia Berry into a fine powder. The powder is made of whole Aronia berries which have been freeze dried and ground (without using any heat) to preserve all the nutritional qualities of the berries. He mentioned to me you can rub the Aronia Berry Powder into your skin and reap the benefits of the vitamins and antioxidants.
I mix the Aronia Berry Powder with almond oil and use it on my hands, face, neck and legs about daily. I have mixed the Aronia Berry Powder with sugar and the almond oil to create a fabulous scrub. I have seen spots on my hands lighten.
In addition to using the powder on skin, I use the Aronia Powder in several other ways too, in a water bottle, smoothies, in lemonade, pineapple juice, in yogurt, oatmeal. The benefits of Aronia we have seen continue to be studied and proved by medical professionals.
Beware when looking at Aronia Berry Powders, not all are created equal. Many folks who produce Aronia juice save the skins and pulp, dry and powder it. It’s a way to use the by-products of their berries. However, if you leave out the juice, do you really get all the nutrients in that powder? Are the Aronia Berries in the product organically grown? Do you really want chemicals in your nutrient-rich powder? With our Aronia Berry Powder, you get certified organic Aronia Berries, grown in the fertile soils of Iowa, harvested at their peak and finely ground without heat to preserve all the nutrients. That’s why our powder is more expensive. It’s worth it!
